Acid and Base Presentations
Create a Powerpoint, Keynote, or Video to "teach" about acids, bases and the pH scale. Reword information into common language question and then provide information to answer the questions. Science Fair and abstract

Facebook
Create a Facebook page for your assigned historical figure using information you have researched. Include the personal information, qualities, and contribution of the character. This Facebook page is an imaginary recreation of the "Facebook." The page should be the profile page and include conversations between you and the character, as well as other characters.

Travel Brochure and Itinerary
Create a 10 slide travel brochure, using PowerPoint, for your designated vacation destination. Your presentation will include a description (History) of you location, accommodations, restaurants, activities, and multiple lines of text (including but not limited to costs, etc.) with supporting pictures on each slide. Your presentation must include a title page, and at least 5 hyperlinks. You are responsible for presenting your projects to the class.

My Biome Final Project
Use the internet and other resources to research your Biome included in your Biome will be 2 animals and 3 plant species particular to your biome. This is a final project that will make up a bulk of your grade for both Science & Art. It is due 5/25 and is worth 150 points, half of with will be assessed in Science & half in Art. As a culmination to this project all 3 group members will present their Biome to the behavior staff including all required speaking points.

Make a brochure to attract tourism, it must include the following: Name of Wind Farm, Location, Cost of Tour(s), What a Wind Farm Does, Why Individuals Would Want to Learn About Wind Turbines.

Create a Creature
Students will draw, design, build or somehow other represent a physical representation of a fictional (not real) creature. In addition to a creature students will fill in a worksheet describing habitat, adaptations, diet, and at least one interesting fact about my creature. Your final will be due on May 29th at the end of class and is worth a total of 50 pts, projects will not be accepted past the due date.

Periodic Table of Elements Poster
I will assign you an element for which you will design a poster that includes the following information. Students will research their adopted element and determine the following: abbreviation, atomic number, atomic mass, periodic table group, state at room temperature, boiling point, melting point, its common (and uncommon) uses, and any hazards involved in using it. This 70 pts project is due at the end of class on June 3, no projects will be excepted after class.

Create a Creature Rubric
Students will draw, construct, or build a creature. Students will present there creature to the class. Oral reports should include a typed or written essay that includes the following creature characteristics, adaptations, habitat, energy source/diet, how it reproduces, and at least one unique fact. Your creature and essay are due on the 28th and oral presentations will be on the 29th, projects will not be excepted after May 29th.

Atomic Structure Project
I will be giving you an atom, to research and make a poster of. For full credit you must include everything listed on the rubric below. Design your own Planet
Each student is to design their own planet with its own climate and if they want lifeforms. The only requirement is that it must have water in a liquid form. All projects must include a typed 250 word essay and picture depicting your planet. This 50 pt final project is due at the end of class on May 29th, projects will not be expected after the 29th.

Advertisement Pitch for Climate Change
This is the summative assessment for the climate change unit. Students will complete a minimum of 3 paragraphs, including an introduction, facts, and conclusion. Students will present arguments in a minute long presentation to class.
