This rubric is built on the 4th grade listening pa state standard for active listening and the process needed to develop that skill. Skill includes asking pertinent questions, summarizing and/or reflecting on what is heard.

Listening/Conversation Journal

Requirements: Students need to have journal entries for listening and conversation hours each week. Responses should include 1 paragraph for listening and 1 paragraph for conversation, as well as define 4-5 new words they heard that week with definitions.
