Healthy Menu Project
Student must design a healthy menu that includes healthy options and reflect a balanced menu. Menu must include: an appetizer, an entree, a beverage, a dessert (optional). Think fresh, think Healthy!

You are a student at a boarding school. As a part time job, you have been hired to work in the school cafeteria. Your first assignment is to plan the menu for the following week. Being a boarding school, the cafeteria serves three meals a day as well as snacks. Review how many portions, from each food group, students your age should eat everyday in “Mon guide alimentaire”. Use this information to help you fill in the chart. Next, pick one day from your menu, and complete a liste d’épicerie. Finally, Mme Dennis questions your choices for the menu. Write ten sentences to explain why your choices are healthy. Use the valeur nutritive or les ingrédients to help you.
