English 101

     English 101 is a class designed to teach people how to write at a college level. I feel like my current English 101 class has done that. While my English class does not follow the same standards set in the course description book, it definitly helped me to improve my writing. During my time in English 101, I learned how to better organize my paragraphs, how to do a good intro and outro, and just recently I learned just how scary plagerism can be.

     I believe that this image does a pretty good job at explaining my personality. I am a major procratinator. It is not something I'm proud of, but at the same time I'm not going to deny the fact that I am lazy. Ever since I started college, I have tried to break the habit, but it keeps coming back. Lack of motivation is a big reason why I am so lazy. When I am doing my school work, everything seems so cloudy and distant, just like in the picture above. If I can get motivated enough, I could do a whole lot better at breaking my procrastination habits.

The most important essay in ENG 101 

     While I hated all of the essays in English 101, my argument essay was the most important one for me. I made a C minus on my argument essay, which is the worst essay grade I got in English 101. The reason why the argument paper is so important to me is because it served as a rude, but needed awakening. I realized how my procrastination had cost me so badly. Just about all of my mistakes on the paper were made out of stupidity and arrogance. The mistakes were not made because I was cluless. I knew what I did was wrong, yet I was too lazy to care.  I just thought those mistakes were minor errors. After looking through the paper, I concluded that I must try to make my next paper as close to perfect as possible. That means if I know I made a mistake, then I need to fix it.
