Future Vision

Our Breast Cancer Awareness Presentation has opened our eyes to the challenging obstacles that African American women still face in this new millennium. For example, we discovered that discrimination by physicians and lack of medical insurance, hinders the ability to be properly diagnosed and treated for Breast Cancer. We would like to continue to raise and promote awareness about this issue. We would like to inform women of physicians negligence and of their choice to purposefully not inform African American women of the many options of Breast Cancer prevention. We would also like to see a health care plan implemented where everyone regardless of the socioeconomic status, gender, and race, would receive proper preventive care.
