Welcome To My E-Portfolio!
During Methods, I had a wonderful chance to
observe in one of the best classrooms I have
ever been in. I observed a 4th grade inclusion
class at Goshen Intermediate School.
The teachers in the class, Miss Walton
and Mrs. Hernandez are great teachers to
look up to as role models for future teaching.
The classroom taught we many things while I was observing. The teachers had posters and charts and concept maps all throughout the classroom. There are also learning centers among the classroom. One of the most helpful things I learned in their classroom is be available to help at anytime. They are always willing to help their students and the students appreciate that they are always there for them.
While I was observing in their classroom, I taught each of the 3 lessons I designed to their class. It gave me an opportunity to use
my ideas to teach content material to a varied group of students.
As i was observing the students as I was teaching, they really
seemed to grasp the ideas that I was relaying to them and it was an amazing self-esteem booster. This proved that I could in fact become a great teacher.
