In this, the “RAM” is described as being used to store data in any given format which makes it random. It’s also described as integrated circuits.

This site is actually showing RAM at work. It’s actually being used to collect information from September 11th. It shows how it can store names and information of people and select them at any given time.

This site describes how these are actually memory cells and depending on what row these connect at, this is where the memory is. It also does describe the Random Access as discussed in the encyclopedia.

After reading these, I’d probably go with the last one from MIMO. It is a bit more expensive, but looking at these, they all seem to be the same as far as speed. What caught my eye was how it says that it utilizes multiple antennas. I think right now we’re in between the whole wireless connections. Until it becomes completely available and also completely affordable, it is obvious that people these days, including myself, wants to be able to open a laptop anytime anywhere to log onto the internet. I feel at some point we will get to this point, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem that any of the manufacturer’s seems to be standing out completely versus others. I like the last one because it may claim high speed, but the multiple antennas were the major one because a person would rather get a slow connection than not get one at all. Similar to dial up, it may not have been the best thing to use, but it gave us the ability to work with what we had.
