Active Involvement

Student is constantly engaged in the class activity and has ideas to contribute. Student does not need reminders to stay on task and is helpful in respectfully reminding others to also participate.

Student is usually engaged in the activities. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction.

Student is often engaged in the activity but needs a reminder to get back on task at times. Student sometimes distracts other classmates.

Student respects and encourages the views of others. Student politely asks questions or clarification and raises her hand when appropriate. Student builds on others' comments.
