Students needed to build a miniature version of a Mi'qmak necessity. They needed to do so using natural materials as much as possible. This is the final project for the poetry unit. The students create a poetry portfolio containing a set number of poems they have written. The poems demonstrate their understanding of poetic devices and style.

Students need to create a slideshow that shows their research on the Arctic region of Canada. Their infromation should include animal life, vegetation, economic activities, etc.
