Sarah Clement's Professional Goals
My professional goals have been a six year work in progress. After graduating from UNCG in 2003, I started my teaching career in an 8th grade Language Arts class. My goal was to return to school to obtain my master's degree but I was unable to return until the fall of 2007. My intentions when entering Strayer University was to gain an understanding of the technology side of the educational system. I was also pondering taking up the leadership concentration and returning to UNCG to finish a principalship curriculum.
Now, I want to become a curriculum specialist that helps other teachers and classrooms integrate technology in their lessons. I find the integration of technology very easy if you take the time to plan out the objectives and lesson for your students. The time that is spent planning a meaningful lesson is very rewarding when your students learn how to use a new type of technology.
