Hi, my name is Jordan Smith. I was born on October 26 in Greenville, South Carolina. I grew up an only child and loved every minute of it. I now attend Tri-County Technical College as a freshman. Before attending Tri-County, I grew up in a small town in South Carolina called Walhalla. While living there I attended Walhalla Elementary, Walhalla Middle School, and Walhalla High School. So one could say I am full blooded Walhalla. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school I was fully involved in school activities such as student government and extracurricular activities. Throughout high school I was involved in a variety of clubs such as FCA, Mu Alpha Theta, Anchor Club, and Key Club. I also was apart of the varsity football and varsity competition cheerleading teams all four years of my high school career. I am very much grateful that I was apart of these organizations in high school because they molded me into a more well-rounded, strong individual.
Life to me is something that one should not take for granted and you should live every minute to the fullest. In my life, the main most important things that keep me going are my family and friends. I feel that one should have friends and family you can trust and who trusts you as well. I feel that I have all of this and more and there is not more I could ask for. Throughout my life I have been through many obstacles but when I am approached by these I look forward and use these obstacles to make me a stronger and better person.
The future to me is very important and I have always thought carefully about what I wanted my future to be. Since my high school graduation, I plan on completing my first year of college at Tri-County Technical College, then transfer to Clemson University by my second year of college. After obtaining a B.S. in sociology I plan on furthering my education at law school and hopefully becoming a successful attorney. After completing all of these goals, I hope to be a successful person not only professionally but personally as well.
