The more power our nation's government has, the better. Imperialism is the ideal that one country extend it's power to aid another country in need. As stated in the mission, we do not believe that America should try to take over the world. The goal of ISH is to influence the government of the United States to use it's wealth and influence to help only those countries who are in desperate need.

The ideals of Imperialism fulfill the doctrine of Manifest Destiny, the belief that the U.S. should expand its borders. If America can expand, then it has more of an area to wield its power over. A fledging nation in the 18th century, we have grown to immense proportions and now posess a unique society. The rest of the world must now acknowledge our existence. We want to spread our ideals of true American democracy around the world so we can eliminate those insignificant, underdeveloped countries.
