We are involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Light the Night walk.  The walk is about raising awareness for leukemia and lymphoma disease and helping support the nation's chance to fund lifesaving research. Our biggest fundraiser for the Team was the sale of lunch plates with informational packets to different faculties at Armstrong Atlantic State University and other establishments around Savannah. We also did a bake sale with Pizza, soda, chips, cookies, and more. During the bake sale we passed out flyers about the LLS.  This activity lets our community members get involved by bringing hope to people battling cancer and also the enjoyment of a meal. However, we also have gotten some donations from friends, family members, and bussiness owners while passing out our flyers and information e-mails.  Our overall goal is to inspire the community to get involved and join us at the Light the Night walk.
