Welcome to Rebecca Annes's Methods portfolio!

I am Rebecca Anne and for the past few months inside this Portfolio you will uncover many interesting things about myself and how I have grown over the past few months because of this class! One of the very first assignments in this class was to make a t-shirt that shows why, what and where I want to teach.  Take a look at my T-Shirt and see if you can figure out my thought on teaching! I also got to express my thoughts about teaching and learning when I made my own learning contract!

Growing up I loved being with children and had a lot of experience babysitting and being around children since I've been 8 years old!  When I was a senior in highschool I began working at Mohonk which is  a historical hotel where I have been a kids counselor for the past four years.  Working here I have gained alot of experience and my love and desore to teach children just grows and grows each day.

I grew up in a small town called New Paltz in a country home with my parents and my two older brothers!

Ever since I was little, second grade to be exact I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I grew up with both of my parents being teachers and really loved how they were always around.  When i was in second grade my teacher was Ms. Lewis and I can still to this day say that she is my favorite teacher and has motivated me to my choice of wanting to become a teacher like her as well as my parents.

These are four very imortant people in my life who have had a big influence on the person I am today!
