As an intern in the Development and Marketing Department at Mercy Ministries of America for credit in COMM 4900 Internship, I was able to utilize and gain more knowledge from a wide array of disciplines.  These activities included:

• Writing press releases, appeal letters, web stories, procedural manuals, chapters of books, development pieces, and Marketing Plans
• Designing graphic projects including fliers, CD covers, information packets,  mailings, invitations, and displays
• Interacting with printers and other outside vendors
• Maintaining and designing website pages
• Editing letters, e-mails, web stories, development pieces, and books
• Researching statistics, promotional products, media contacts, and strategies
• Coordinating volunteer activities
• Assisting in event planning and execution
