My Free Time Well Spent...

Although I do not find a lot of free time; when I do, I enjoy expressing my thoughts and creativity on paper.  This particular art work was submitted for an Art Appreciation Day and displayed at the Pueblo Community College Gallery during the Summer of 2006.

My new found passion in life is to speak to young people and provide a hard look into bad choices.   I enjoy sharing my story, although at times it is humblying to admit how many years I have wasted.  I want young people to know that they have power to change the things about themselves and their lives that they don't like.  The following is a list of some of the organizations and schools that I have partnered with and presented to:

  • Juvenile Diversion Program
    • Target Program
    • REACH Program
    • Gang Prevention Program
  • Pueblo City Schools
    • Bessemer Academy
    • Bradford Elementary
    • Freed Middle School
    • Hellback Elementary
    • Risley Middle School GEAR UP Program
    • Centennial High School
  • Department of Social Services Public Forum
  • Pueblo Youth Detention Center Focus Group
  • Youth Offenders Services
