Philosophy of Education Essay:

I wrote this essay in the spring semester of 2005.  It details my philosophy on education as well as highlights my educational background and explains how that has led me to be seeking a masters degree in education.

 Grant Proposal:

I wrote my first grant proposal in the spring of 2008.  For a class assignment I was required to create a fictional company with a specific cause in mind.  I chose to create SLAPPY INC, the Secondary Language Acquisition Program for Pennsylvania Youth.  I researched many funding agencies before making a selection and writing a detailed proposal for funding for my program.

 Adaptation Presentation:

This was the first paper that I ever presented in front of a panel and audience outside of the classroom.  Presented at Coloquium, a festival of the English dept. at Slippery Rock University, my paper was written to magnify the likes and differences between the classical English novel Robinson Crusoe and the recent film Castaway.  My paper was selected to be presented at the festival in the spring of 2008.
