I have had the privilege of working with Johanne Castera since January, 2007. Mrs. Castera has been a substitute teacher in my classroom, which includes a diverse group of students who are English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Mrs. Castera is always well organized, prepared, professional, and dependable during her time teaching in my classroom. She is very friendly and gives much respect to students.
Mrs. Castera has proven herself to be an exemplary teacher. She is consistently prepared for her teaching responsibilities and is very open to my classrooms unique learning environment. She motivates students, uses a variety of teaching strategies, and encourages the participation of the entire class. In addition, I have found her classroom management style to be very effective as my students respond to her very well.
Mrs. Castera is a self-starter who always goes above and beyond. She is committed to the teaching profession and strives to put the needs and interests of students first. I feel Johanne Castera has all of the qualifications and potential necessary to be an excellent teacher. She will be an asset to the teaching staff of any school.
