Storage
Hard Drive-
Fujitsu makes a hard drive and can be found at http://compreviews.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fcpa.fujitsu.com%2Fproducts%2Fhard-drives%2F It’s got a 7,200 RPM. It’s designed mainly for notebooks because the demand for faster notebooks has been increased. For the compact size it’s offered in, it stores at a minimum of 80GBs. I think this is a good amount of storage because for me personally, I use my laptop more than my desktop computer. I use my desktop as a main storage unit because it has a larger hard drive. I find it to be a bit of a pain to have to move my info from my laptop to my desktop though and would rather they make laptops that are capable of holding more information and not losing any of the speed of the computer in general.
Fujitsu also makes a very nice 42” television, plasma. It can be found at http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/plasmatvreviews/fujitsu42.html Looking at this tv, it looks to be a very sleek unit with what sounds to be very clear picture. Unfortunately, it’s hard to determine the picture quality from photos of the tv and not the actual tv itself. It appears for the size and capabilities of this tv, it is able to produce a hdtv picture. It will only produce this picture if the source is high definition. It has component inputs, s-video, hdmi, and regular rca cables. These options are good for the consumer, giving them the option to picture and sound quality.

CD/DVD Writer
HP makes a CD writer. You can view this at http://shopper.cnet.com/HP_CD_Writer_Plus_9140i_CD_RW_drive_IDE/4014-3207_9-30086157.html?info=mfg&tag=nav.mfg#more-info After looking at this, it is a non removable unit. It will need to be installed into a desktop computer. I’ve now learned that there are two types, a removable and non-removable. If you don’t mind the clutter then you can literally take the portable writer with you to any computer, download the software and start recording music and/or dvds within seconds. It seems with this writer, you’re adding a function to a computer that it didn’t come with. My question is, will this effect the functions of my computer? Will it need to go into only an HP computer or can it go into any?
HP is a large company. Another item I picked that they make is another 42” plasma t.v. It can be viewed at http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/storefronts/flat_panel_tvs/1/storefronts/EK429AA%2523ABA;jsessionid=F2KEcxQt4S1lS5snIfl0aNt2e1PrB2QOYSxzGehAMypCzqnE8iop!-732381965 This t.v. I actually like so much that I went out and bought one. It has similar functions as the Fujitsu such as the component video, hdmi, s-video and rca plug in’s. I especially like this one though because when the hdmi was plugged in, I was able to use it as my computer monitor as well. It appeared to have very vivid colors to the picture. Also, the picture appeared to be much clearer and smoother rather than grainy. I especially liked the framing of it in black with the speakers running along the side. It gives it the look of a piece of nice furniture rather than just a tv.

Flash Memory Drives
Corsair makes flash memory drives. It can be viewed at http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/flash_memory.html#fv Looking at these flash memories, it appears that these are similar to an external hard drive. They are much smaller and hold a lot of information. Similar to a hard drive, the more memory you store into it, the less the quality will turn and will have an effect on. The less information stored into these flash drives enhances the quality of what’s on there currently. It seems it was mainly designed for music and quick use. All MP3’s such as IPODs are considered as a flash memory source.
Corsair also makes a “heat drive”. You can view this at http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/dominator.html  This heat drive actually looks like something I may look into buying. I didn’t realize what this even existed. This unit is made to hold the storage you need yet with a cool tower to be available. I currently have this problem with my desktop. It’s a fairly new desktop yet when it’s a little warm in that room, or it’s during the day, the fans start running in overdrive. It seems as though the computer needs a better cooling system or a different way to store my information I am working on or saving. I’ve noticed a tremendous change in the performance of the computer when the tower starts to heat up. This unit by corsair enables the flow of air to shift through differently as the fans are running. Also to help push this air are 3 fans on the back side.
