Brenda Carnes, MBA
Education:
I am a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer Applications in 2000. I went on to complete my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in 2005, and I am currently completing my Masters in Business Education (MBE) at SNHU with an expected completion date of May 2007.
Experience:
I am a management professional with nearly 20 years of wide-ranging expertise in academia, administration, higher education, marketing, sales, computer software and industry-related experience. My broad background includes roles as the Chief Operating Officer of the Technology Education Career Center of Maine (TECCME), Marketing & Sales Director, Account Manager, Customer Relations Manager, Inside Sales Specialist, Quality Auditor and Production Supervisor.
Currently, I am working as an Education Consultant for the New Horizons Computer Learning Center, servicing Raleigh, Durham, and Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Personal:
The variety of outdoor activities I enjoy includes tennis, hiking, camping and just plain old traveling to just about anywhere. I am a fairly good cook and enjoy watching the Food Network during my leisure time. I do not have any children, but do have one cat who thinks he is a child! Here he is lounging on the deck:
