Third topic sentence is unclear.	Fair 1 clear topic sentences. The key information from the prompt is included. Two topic sentences are unclear.	Poor No clear topic sentences. The key information from the prompt is not included.
Supporting Details 30 %	Excellent Paragraph(s) have two or more supporting detail sentences that relate back to the main idea.	Good Paragraph(s) have one supporting detail sentences that relate back to the main idea.	Fair Paragraph(s) have one supporting detail sentence that somewhat relate back to the main idea.	Poor Paragraph(s) have no supporting detail sentences that relate back to the main idea.
Logic/Text examples 30 %	Excellent Answer shows reflective thought, and text examples or support have been provided throughout.
