hatched value scale

5

Your final value scale shows a steady change in value from light to dark. Each individual square demonstrates a consistent value throughout the square. You've very successfully demonstrated shading in this technique.
4

Your final value scale shows a steady change in value from light to dark. Each individual square demonstrates a mostly consistent value throughout each square. You've successfully demonstrated at least 4 values of shading in this technique.
3

Your final value scale fails to demonstrate a mostly steady change in value from light to dark. You may have 1 or 2 squares that seem out of order. You've demonstrated at least 3 values of shading but could have done so more effectively in this technique.
2

Your final value scale fails to demonstrate a steady change in value from light to dark. You may have several squares that seem out of order. Individual squares fail to show a consistent value throughout the square. You have not demonstrated at least 3 values of shading in this technique.
1

Your final value scale fails to demonstrate a steady change in value from light to dark. You may have squares left unfinished. Individual squares fail to show at least 2 values of shading in this technique.
