Student has only a superficial or limited understanding of content. Mistakes were made during the presentation. The main findings of the article, methodology or conclusions of the paper are explained incorrectly or not explained clearly.
Conclusion

Excellent
Conclusion reviews information presented, restates the findings and ends with a clear summary of the "take home points" of the article.
Good
Conclusion fails to do ONE of the following: review of information, restatement of findings or summarizing of take home points.

Conclusion fails to do TWO of the previous criteria.
Visuals

Excellent
Student makes excellent use of visual aids. Employs PowerPoint. Visuals are visually pleasing, non-crowded and work well to support the speaker and convey information.
Good
Visuals are generally good. Small mistakes may be present but do not interfere with the effective functioning of the aids.
OK
Mistakes in the visuals are distracting from the presentation. Visuals do not serve to effectively communicate main findings.
