Presentation Rubric

Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Delivery This refers to how well the presentation is given: elocution, eye contact, and enthusiasm.	Poor Student presents information with no eye contact. Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear. Student is unenthusiastic.	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact. Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation. Student is somewhat enthusiastic.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time. Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation. Student is enthusiastic.	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience. Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation. Student is very enthusiastic.
Use of Language Appropriate diction, syntax, tone; level of vocabulary.	Poor Student used poor diction, syntax, vocab, and did not vary tone of voice.	Fair Student used fair diction, syntax, vocab, and sometimes varied tone of voice.	Good Student used good diction, syntax, vocab, and appropriate tone of voice.	Excellent Student used excellent diction, syntax, vocab, and tone of voice.
Content Quality and accuracy of information	Poor Student gave inaccurate or insufficient information.	Fair Student gave mostly accurate and sufficient information.	Good Student gave accurate and sufficient information.	Excellent Student's information went above and beyond the assignment.
Presentation Aides These include Power Point, handouts, posters, etc.	Poor Student used no aides.	Fair Student used one aide, and it was fair.	Good Student used one aide, and it was good, adding to value of presentation.	Excellent Student used more than one aide and all were excellent and added to presentation's value.
