Procedural Fluency The student shows computational accuracy with whole numbers and can effectively follow steps to solve two-digit equations with regrouping. Approaching standard The student attempted the problem showing some errors and failing to get the right answer.	Does not meet standard The student will attempt the problem but fail at the right procedure and answer.
Conceptual understanding Student shows evidence of thinking through, selecting and applying a problem solving process. Questions 1,2,3,4	Meets standard The student answers the problem correctly and shows an understanding of the concept.	Approaching standard The student shows an understanding of the concept but has minimal errors and doesn't get the right answer.	Does not meet standard The student does not understand the concept of solving the problem.
Problem Solving The student computes a reasonable solution to the word problem by applying problem-solving skills. Questions 1,2,3,4	Meets standard The student can use problem-solving and get the correct answer.	Approaching standard The student had minimal errors in the problem-solving process but produces the wrong answer.	Does not meet standard The student shows multiple errors in the problem-solving process.
