Los Saludos (Greetings) Group Skits Los Saludos (Greetings) Group Skits Students will perform a skit to demonstrate mastery of vocabulary related to greetings and introductions. Students are working in groups of 2-3 students. Students must prepare a brief skit (3 minutes to 5 minutes) that include phrases and expressions related to greetings and introductions. Each group will have 45 minutes to write their skits and should be prepared to act out their skits. While the skits are being performed, class members are to observe and listen. Skits- El Dialogo
	Excellent 35 pts	Average 30 pts	Needs Improvment 25 pts
Presentation	Excellent Student demonstrated mastery (sentences were fluent with no interruptions) in communicating in Spanish using the correct vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.	Average Student demonstrated proficiency (3-5 mistakes related to vocabulary and a few interruptions (2-3) in communicating in Spanish using the correct vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.	Needs Improvment Student failed to demonstrate knowledge of the dialogue's vocabulary (more than 5 mistakes) and fluency (more that 3 interruptions)when communicating in Spanish with vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.
Effort	Excellent Group members used their time effectively and remained on task to complete assignment in timely manner.	Average Group members somewhat used their time effectively and remained on task part of the time.	Needs Improvment Group members did not use their time effectively and did not remain on task to complete assignment.
Written Skit	Excellent Student demonstrated mastery (sentences were fluent with correct capitalization and punctuation) in communicating in Spanish using the correct vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.	Average Student demonstrated proficiency (3-5 mistakes related to vocabulary and some missing punctuation and capitalization) in communicating in Spanish using the correct vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.	Needs Improvment Student failed to demonstrate knowledge of the vocabulary related to greetings and introductions.
