The Outsiders Essay 
Throughout the novel The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton presents strong leaders through characters like Ponyboy, Dallas, and Derry. Choose one of these characters and write a five paragraph essay about how they contributed to society as well as within their group of friends. Within your essay, include one quote from the novel that you think best describes the character you chose. Be sure to write about where your character ends up at the conclusion of the novel.
