Family of Graphs Lab
Using graphing software, students explore families of graphs: absolute value function, rational function, quadratic function, cubic function and square root function. Students have a set of questions to answer after manipulating each graph and will write the general form of each equation for each graph. They will also write an equation of several transformations of the parent graph and explain what happens to each graph based on the equation.
