American Composers of the Early Twentieth Century (1900-1940 
The students will pick one American Composer of the Twentieth Century (1900-1940), create a project, and present their findings to the class. The project should include biographical information about the composer, a brief comparison of at least two of their works, and how historical cultures or events influenced Western music (specifically their composer’s music). This presentation should include some form of media as a visual or auditory aid to enhance the project.
