Proficient Student proficiently demonstrates conceptual understanding as they correctly identified the appropriate operation (multiplication or division) for 4 or more of the fraction word problems and missed no more than 1 out of the 6 problems total.
Procedural Fluency	Beginning Student does not demonstrate procedural fluency as they incorrectly performed the appropriate steps to solve for 4 or more fraction word problems out of the 6 problems total.	Developing Student demonstrates some procedural fluency as they incorrectly performed the appropriate steps to solve for 2-3 fraction word problems out of the 6 problems total.	Proficient Student proficiently demonstrates procedural fluency as they correctly performed the appropriate steps to solve 4 or more of the fraction word problems and missed no more than 1 out of the 6 problems total.
Mathematical Reasoning	Beginning Student does not demonstrate mathematical reasoning as they did not provide clear explanation for any of the 6 fraction word problems.	Developing Student demonstrates some mathematical reasoning as they provided clear explanations for at least 2-3 of the fraction word problems.	Proficient Student proficiently demonstrates mathematical reasoning as they wrote clear explanations to provide reasoning for all 6 fraction word problems.
