Bee-bot Rubric
	Emerging 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Accomplished 4 pts
Describes position and movement	Emerging The student was not able to determine any positional language and/or used hand gestures and arrows to help them.	Developing Sometimes, the student was able to determine some directional language i.e Forwards and Backwards	Proficient More often than not, the student was able to determine the movement of bee-bot using suffiecient directional language i.e Forwards, Backwards, Left, Right	Accomplished The student was able to use a wide repertoire of directional language as they programmed the bee-bot. As the bee-bot went through the path, they were able to explain and justify using directional langauge
Programming of Bee-Bot	Emerging The student was not able to program the bee-bot in the necessary pattern to complete the desired task.	Developing Sometimes, the student was able to program the bee-bot in the necessary pattern to complete the desired goal, however there were a few mistakes in the programming.	Proficient The student was always able to program the bee-bot in the necessary pattern to complete the desired goal with no more than 2 mistakes in programming.	Accomplished The student was always able to program the bee-bot in the necessary pattern to complete the desired goal with no mistakes in programming.
Planning and Creation of Obstacle Course	Emerging The student did not use the planning sheet and/or did not represent the landmarks in a play dough form	Developing Sometimes, the student used the planning sheet, however the student was not engaged with following the planning. Needed more guidance with what places/things to plan.	Proficient More often than not, the student consistently worked on the planning sheet. The student used the planning sheet to help plan their up-scaled obstacle course.	Accomplished The student consistently used the planning sheet to guide their planning on the upscaled obstacle course without any guidance. Clear planning with labeled arrows to identify how to program the bee-bot
