Building Functions Assessment Rubric From the Survey monkey assessment, this rubric will help guide the student on what they will be assessed. From the survey, the student will be assessed on how well they can identify parent functions and the characteristics of transformations. Based on the assessment, the teacher will get input on how well the student is understanding the concept and if there are changes to be made to lecture about pacing the class and reviewing. Survey Monkey Assessment
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Content Understanding	Poor More than 2 errors were made. Student's answer were not fluid.	Fair Student made one or two errors, but had the right ideas about building functions unit.	Good The student is on track and understands the concept of building functions very well. Student used key words such as stretching, shifting, and reflecting in their answer.
Graph Explanation	Poor Student did not answer anything. The student's answer was not relating to the unit.	Fair There is some understanding in the students explanation about transformations and identifying graphs.	Good Student showed full understanding in all problems.
Equation Deriving	Poor Students did not attempt to answer the question about deriving a function.	Fair Student attempted to derive a function for the given graph but function is wrong.	Good The function answered is correct and understand the characteristics of the transformation.
