Raft-Building Model
	Excellent 4 pts	Fair 3 pts	Lacking 2 pts
Model (creativity)	Excellent Students created an accurate representation of their raft. The model is neat and appealing to the eye.	Fair Students created an adequate representation of their raft.	Lacking Students model is messy and does not accurately represent their raft.
Materials	Excellent Students used materials that simulate synthetic and natural materials based on their chosen environment.	Fair Students used materials that somewhat mimic materials they might find in their chosen environment.	Lacking Students chose materials not fitting to their chosen environment.
Time Usage & Co-operation	Excellent Students co-operated well and used time wisely and completed the project with ample time for cleanup.	Fair Students co-operated most of the time and used time quite well, although cleanup may have been cut short.	Lacking Students rarely co-operated, did not use their time wisely, and clean-up was poor
Functional	Excellent Raft-design followed the blueprint picture, was fully functional ,and able to float with ample weight applied.	Fair Raft-design followed the blueprint picture, was functional to float with little weight applied.	Lacking Raft-design did not follow the blueprint and was unable to float.
