Creativity and Innovation	Excellence The project shows advanced creativity and has unique aspects.	Good The project is creative and unique.	Fair The project is not unique but has creative application.	Poor The project has no unique characteristics.
Explanation	Excellence Student can thoroughly explain how their project relates to STEM.	Good Student can explain how their project relates to STEM.	Fair Student can explain only a small part of the work.	Poor Student cannot explain any of the work.
Research and Information Fluency	Excellence Information regarding project is thoroughly presented in an organized manner.	Good Information regarding project is accurately presented in an organized manner. A few slight errors may be present.	Fair Most of the information regarding project is presented in a fairly organized manner. Obvious errors or omissions are present.	Poor Information regarding project is absent, inaccurate, or presented in such a way that it cannot be followed.
Presentation Flow & Visual Appeal	Excellence Student presentation is in a logical sequence that is easy to follow. Final product is neat and visually appealing and follows basic presentation guidelines.	Good Student presentation is complete but it is somewhat difficult to follow. Final product is fairly neat and follows most basic presentation guidelines. A few insignificant flaws may be present.	Fair Student presentation is incomplete and difficult to follow, but some logical steps are shown. Final product is lacking basic presentation guidelines.	Poor Student presentation is incomplete. Final product sloppy and shows little to no effort at following presentation guidelines.
Productivity	Excellence Student worked productively on project everyday.	Good Student worked productively on project most days.	Fair Student was not productive most days, but occasionally worked on their project.	Poor Student was not productive during class time and threw together a project at the last minute.
