Details	Mal Less than 3 scenes include background information.	Regular 3-6 scenes include background details.	Bien 7-9 scenes include important background details.	Fantástico Each scene includes background details (where the farm is, hailstorms, what the people look like, etc.).
Number of sentences	Mal Less than 4 scenes have complete sentences.	Regular 4-6 scenes have complete sentences.	Bien 7-9 scences have complete sentences.	Fantástico Each scene has a complete sentence.

Preterite vs. Imperfect	Mal Student confuses the preterite and the imperfect 4 or more times.	Regular Student confuses the preterite and the imperfect 2-3 times.
