Mind Map Rubric
	Good 4 pts	Fair 3 pts	Poor 1 pts
Organization	Good The main idea is supported by details, the categories make sense, and the reader is able to follow and understand what is written.	Fair The main idea is supported by details, some categories do not make sense, and at times the reader is not able to follow what is written.	Poor There is no recognizable pattern to the ideas. They seem to be a list of thoughts that confuse the reader.
Depth	Good The map has at least 4 subtopics and a minimum of 2 ideas under each subtopic.	Fair The map has 3 subtopics and/or is missing the required amount of ideas under each subtopic.	Poor The map has only two subtopics and/or is missing ideas under each subtopic.
Design	Good The map is well layed out, the font is a good size, and it easy to read.	Fair Some ideas are difficult to read, but the overall layout is good.	Poor The layout is poor and difficult to read.
Creativity	Good The map is interesting to the eye and uses colours and imagery that work well together.	Fair Some of the colours and imagery do not work well together making parts of the map difficult to read.	Poor The colours and imagery are conflicting, and it is very difficult to read the map.
Spelling/Grammar	Good No errors	Fair 1-2 errors	Poor 3 or more errors
