Mental Illness POWER POINT PRESENTATION 
Create a power point presentation of an assigned Mental Illness. PPT presentation slides are to include accurate information and pictures. Student must present information & power point presentation to the class. Information must be in depth; student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered - NO PLAGIARISM. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL. Student must also submit all slide material condensed onto a google doc to be checked for accuracy. References are required

Very confident stature and vocal on topic, mostly prepared for questions from the class, manages technology sufficiently.

DESCRIPTION AND SYMPTOMS

The student did not include an accurate description of the mental illness. The students did not include symptoms in the presentation.

The student was unsure of the description of the mental illness and only a few accurate symptoms were included, most were based on student opinion.

The student provided an accurate descriptions and discussed briefly most of the symptoms and used some direct quotes which could have been paraphrased. The student included at least one person that lives with this illness.

The student discussed thoroughly about his/her mental illness in their own words and provided a complete and accurate list of symptoms. The student included more than one person that has this illness.

The student mentioned a treatment for the mental illness and included at least one person who could provide the treatment.

The student thoroughly discussed treatments for the mental illness and provided local resources/place where this treatment could be obtained.
