3D Atomic Model 3D Atomic Model Student will create a 3-D model of an atom, of assigned element. Student will include the correct number of protons and neutrons in nucleus and correct energy levels with correct electrons. All of the procedure points MUST be included. Design of atom 5 pts	Poor Atom is not accurate in terms of number of sub-atomic particles. Atom model has many design flaws. Choice of materials does not suit model.	Fair Atom is accurate but lacks some information. Atom model has some design flaws. Choice of materials is appropriate for model.	Good Atom is accurate and included all required information. Atom model is neat and well designed. Choice of materials is well suited for model.
Creativity 5 pts	Poor Project appears forced, hard to follow.<BR> It appears to have too many parts that are strange and do not serve any purpose.	Fair Project is nice, but it is not unique.<BR> It has many similar components as other presentations.	Good Project is unique, and does not appear to look like the others. The project shows creativity that is exciting and fresh.
Color 5 pts	Poor The student has no color at all in the project.	Fair The student has color in the project but has failed to color-code protons and neutrons correctly.	Good All parts of the project are correct and complete. The project has adequate color, and all parts are color-coded accordingly.
Effort 5 pts	Poor The project look as if it lacks significant effort. The project still needs quite a bit of work and does not appear complete. Many errors are evident in the work.	Fair The project looks like parts of it were thrown together in a rush. The project appears to be mostly done; although, it could use some minor touch up here and there.	Good The project clearly shows that much effort was put forth and the project appears complete.
Labeling 5 pts	Poor There was no notecard to accompany the 3D Model at all.	Fair The notecard was present with some labeled information, but not all. Parts that were missing may have included: <BR> Name of the element, chemical symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, student name, <BR> student number, Homeroom	Good Labeled correctly: the Name of the element, chemical symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, student name, <BR> student number, and Homeroom were all listed.
