Is easily understood by native speakers, even those unaccustomed to speaking/writing of non-native speakers.
Intermediate High

Is generally understood by native speakers, even those unaccustomed to speaking/writing of non-native speakers.
Intermediate Mid

Is generally understood by native speakers, even those unaccustomed to speaking/writing of non-native speakers, although clarification is required.
Intermediate Low

Is generally understood by native speakers, even those unaccustomed to speaking/writing of non-native speakers, although clarification is required and there is interference from another language.
