Student will identify at least two situations where improved communication could have improved outcomes in this case study. Student will use verbal and/or written communication about case study that is clear, using appropriate professional terms with minimal slang. Student will ask at least one pertinent question regarding the case study.
Student will identify at least one unfamiliar condition, medication, or intervention, used quality information technology resources to discover relevant evidence-based practices, and thoroughly analyze how those practices were used (or not) within the case study.
-Student will identify at least two components of the nursing process they would adjust to improve patient-centered care in this case study. Student will explain several appropriate specific actions they would take to do so and how those actions promote patient-centered care.
