Area of Squares	Proficient The dimensions are labeled correctly and work reflects the correct dimensions	Approaching Proficient The dimensions are incorrectly labeled or shapes are do not coorespond with dimensions	Developing The dimensions are not labeled.
Collaboration	Proficient The student participated to the fullest extent in a positive and helpful manner. They were present for each day of the project.	Approaching Proficient The student participated in a positive and helpful manner, but was absent for one of the project days was off-task at times.	Developing Student participated but was off-task most of the time or absent more than one day
Proof of work	Proficient The student demonstrated all steps for solving the missing side. The steps are the same as the instructional video.	Approaching Proficient The student demonstrated a few steps for solving the missing side. The steps are similar to the steps provided in the instructional video.	Developing The student did not demonstrate the steps fr solving the missing side. The student provided the formula and the answer only.
