Chapter 3 Mid-Check Rubric
	Incomplete 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Mastery 4 pts
Drawing Equal Groups	Incomplete Student did not complete this portion of the Exit Ticket.	Developing Student has drawn the incorrect amount of groups and or items resulting in an incorrect final product.	Proficient Students are able to find the correct answer without showing me correct drawing to match.	Mastery Students can accurately draw equal groups to represent given information when given a phrase (8 groups of 2) and/or a multiplication sentence. (taught in lessons 3.1)
Write Related Repeated Addition Sentences	Incomplete Student did not complete this portion of the Exit Ticket.	Developing Students have written the incorrect numbers to complete the addition sentence. But still have the correct answer as the final product. (Example 2+4=6 instead of 2+2+2=6)	Proficient Students have shown that they understand the concept when given a drawing but do not yet show accuracy when given a multiplication problem to turn into an addition problem.	Mastery Students can accurately write related repeated addition problems to represent given information. (Taught in lesson 3.2)
Write Related Multiplication Sentence (Equation)	Incomplete Student did not complete this portion of the Exit Ticket.	Developing Students have written the incorrect numbers to achieve correct final product. Usually seen as mixing the addition and multiplication symbols (Example: 6+6=36 or 6x6=12)	Proficient Students have shown that they understand the concept when given a drawn but do not yet show accuracy when given an addition problem to turn into an multiplication problem.	Mastery Students can accurately write a related multiplication sentence given a repeated addition example or a picture. (Taught in lesson 3.2)
Draw Jumps to show Equal Groups	Incomplete Student did not complete this portion of the Exit Ticket.	Developing Students show some jumps made on the number line but did not jump the right amount of spaces or ended on the incorrect final number.	Proficient Students can show the correct answer (ending on the correct number) with their jumping. However they did not jump the right number of jumps. (Example: 8 jumps of 2 turns out to be shown 2 jumps of 8)	Mastery Students can accurately draw the correct amount of 'jumps' on a number line when give a multiplication phrase or sentence. (Taught in lesson 3.3)
