	Below Basic 10 pts	Basic 15 pts	Basic Plus 20 pts	Proficient 25 pts
Length The duration of the audio .	Below Basic Audio is 1 minute or shorter; does not utilize time well.	Basic Audio is between 1 to 1 1/2 minutes; uses time somewhat efficiently.	Basic Plus Audio is between 2 to 2 1/2 Time is used moderately well.	Proficient Clip is between 3 and 4 minutes . Time is used very well.
Number of Tracks Number of tracks and use of loops, instruments, voice.	Below Basic Student uses 1-3 tracks.	Basic Student uses 3-5 tracks.	Basic Plus Student uses 5-7	Proficient Student uses 10 or more tracks with instrumentation, loops, voice.
Lyrical/Musicablity/Creativity Transitions, musically sound and contains theme and style	Below Basic Has no rhythm or variety and transitions are non-existent. NO theme or style	Basic Has near no rhythm and has almost no variety and no transitions. Some thematic ideas and sound	Basic Plus The beats rhythm, variety and transitions are are good. Fairly good thematic ideas and sound.	Proficient Song is rhythmic and sounds great as an entire piece. Song is put together well theme is thought out and sound of song overall fits well.
Song Techniques Techniques were used to create song quality	Below Basic Student has used no song quality or techniques	Basic Student has used a little song quality and technique	Basic Plus Student has used quality and technique through most of the song	Proficient Student has used quality and technique through the entire song. It flows well and create a well written melody and song.
