Format	Excellent The cover letter is written in block form with correct spacing between all elements. All elements are present. Letter is one page long.	Good One mistake is made in the format of the cover letter.	Fair Two mistakes are made in the format of the cover letter or one element is missing.	Poor Three or more mistakes are made in the format of the cover letter.
Greeting & Closing	Excellent Greeting and closing have all elements and are in the correct format.	Good All parts of greeting and closing are present, but format/punctuation is incorrect.	Fair One or more parts of is missing from the greeting or closing.	Poor Greeting or closing is missing two or more parts.
Introduction Paragraph	Excellent Intro paragraph clearly names the job being applied for and notes where the job listing was found. Paragraph is well-written and introduces the body paragraph.
