Opinionated Reflection w/ Evidence
	Beginner 1 pts	Proficient 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Organization/Legibility	Beginner Unorganized and does not make sense. The paper is smudgy or torn.	Proficient A written structure that has minimal wear and is readable.	Excellent A written structure that is organized. Stating their opinions and tying in their textual evidence. Ex. Sadie is going to do an experiment on plants because....(textual evidence).
Textual Evidence	Beginner Does not have any connections with the text.	Proficient Has 1-3 connections with the text that they connected with one of their opinions.	Excellent Has 4 or more textual evidence that has been connected with their opinions.
Opinionated Reflection	Beginner Used 0-1 opinionated observations.	Proficient Made 2-3 opinionated observations.	Excellent Made 4 or more opinionated observations.
Connections	Beginner Made little to no connections from the text or lesson. Needs to show text-to-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world.	Proficient Makes 1-2 connections whether it's from text-to-self, text-to-text, or text-to-world.	Excellent Made a connection with all three categories: text-to-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world.
