Creative Writing Rubric 
Everyone will be writing a “missing chapter” for To Kill a Mockingbird. Your “missing chapter” must be a sub-plot that fits thematically in the novel. The sub-plot must demonstrate the elements of a plot (conflict, inciting incident, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution). The point of view must match the narration of the novel. Your word choice should imitate Lee’s style in To Kill a Mockingbird.
