Map	Poor The student did not draw a map.	Fair The student did draw a map with no locations.	Good The student did draw a map with 1 location.	Excellent The student did draw a map with at least 2 places of interest with the miles being written from the school to point A then to point B.
Explanation	Poor The student did not explain the map.	Fair The student explained only 1 part of the map.	Good The student explained the map in a confusing manner.	Excellent The student explained the map drawn with detail describing where they wanted the teacher to visit, how many miles were between the two places of choice, and the math problem that was created from the places of choice.
Math Problem	Poor There is no math problem.	Fair The math problem is there but is not attempted to be solved.	Good The math problem is there, but is not solved correctly showing all work.	Excellent The math problem is written correctly with the correct solution. The problem is solved showing how the student was thinking.
