Interview assessment criteria
	Poor 0 pts	Fair 1 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 5 pts
Pronunciation You will be assessed on: sounds; intonation; stress; chunking & Pausing	Poor All answers were awkward and incomprehensible.	Fair Answers were awkward and incomprehensible to understand at times.	Good Answers were awkward at times but always understandable and supported with examples.	Excellent Answers were clear, comprehensible, and supported with examples.
Pronunciation	Poor Student pronunciation was incomprehensible.	Fair Student's pronunciation inhibited understanding.	Good Student's pronunciation was understandable with some error.	Excellent Student's pronunciation was like a native speaker.
Fluency Not a lot of pauses during speech	Poor Unable to answer.	Fair Student took a long time to produce and responese to questions.	Good Student was able to answer the questions with little difficulty.	Excellent Student was able to communicate clear with no difficulty.
Respones Clear, understandable, objective	Poor No sign of comprehension.	Fair The student showed little or no comprehension of questions.	Good The student understood most of what was asked of them.	Excellent The student fully understood the questions which were asked and answered correctly.
Confidence Follow the instructions given by the teacher	Poor Did not exude any confidence.	Fair Exuded very little confidence.	Good Exuded much confidence.	Excellent Exuded only confidence.
