Composition Student has high focus on the selected elements and principles of art as well as ensuring the composition appears complete.	Advanced Student spent meticulous time ensuring that proportions are correct and chosen elements and principles are highly evident.	Proficient Student spent time making sure that proportions are accurate to the best of their ability and the chosen elements and principles are visible.	Needs Work Student did not ensure proportions are accurate and spent little time making the chosen elements and principles are visible.	Not Proficient Student had not concern of proportions and does not appear to have spent any time making the chosen elements and principles visible.
Craftsmanship Finished project displays a high level of neatness, clean lines (if desired), desired texture, and lacks obvious flaws.	Advanced All aspects of the artwork were considered and patiently completed. The finished product is a result of careful, meticulous planning. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Project is pristine and well kept.	Proficient With a little more effort in finishing techniques, the artwork could be outstanding. Overall, the project is clean and without major flaws.
