The student clearly breaks main ideas into paragraph form.
Neatness/Creativity	Poor The report appears to be a rough draft. There are pencil smudges. The report is not attached to rubric. The report is out of order. The student showed little effort in creating an original project on their book.	Fair The report is fairly neat. There is a rubric attached to the front of the report. The report is in order and shows a reasonable amount of creativity.	Good The appearance of the report is organized. It is obviously a final copy. The student made sure to present the information in an orderly manner. The report shows a good amount of creativity. The project reveals a great amount of effort and originality.
Content	Poor The information in the report does not relate to the book. The student is off topic in many places. The teacher is left wondering: What was the book about, and did the student actually read it?	Fair The information in the report is relevant, it relates to the book. The teacher can understand the book from the report. It is clear the student read the book and answered some of the questions asked by the teacher.	Good The content shows detailed knowledge of the book. The teacher understood the book and learned something new from the report. The student read the book, thought about it, and answered all questions asked by the teacher.
